Business Cassowary Coast has been established to give local businesses a stronger collective voice, better connections and practical support to help build a prosperous Cassowary Coast.

The peak body was formed by local business people experienced in small and large enterprises, local government, as well as Chambers of Commerce.

The purpose is to address an emerging need facing our business community — for ‘whole of region’ business engagement, continuity of knowledge and strong self-representation when dealing with government.

Our aim is to ensure our region’s business needs are represented by business first.

We will ditch the old-fashioned approach where the same few people spend all their time running local associations and having no time left over for fun.
